Question:My Airman graduates from BMT in 10 days! I was wondering if you could share you BMT graduation experience with me? I want all the details! :D - elroyal
Answer:
I had so much fun going down to Texas for my Airman’s BMT graduation! The first day starts with the Airman’s run, which is all of the graduating Airman running in formation while chanting. After that is the coin ceremony, which can get pretty long but is very interesting. When that is done the Airman will be stuck at attention until someone comes and taps them on the shoulder. Hopefully you’ll get to do that, because it is magically after not getting to see them for so long. The next day is the actual graduation ceremony where they’re all dressed up in their dress blues. Then the next two days are yours to spend with them between the allowed hours. You’re going to have so much fun! But it sure will fly by fast =/
Down below I posted a picture of us hugging for the first time after I tapped his shoulder :)
